Pallet racking & storage systems

Storage layouts designed around the truck fleet, the pallet and the throughput: selective, double-deep, drive-in, push-back, pallet live and long-span shelving.

Specify this category

Supplied within this category

  • Selective and double-deep pallet racking
  • Drive-in, push-back and pallet live storage
  • Long-span shelving, mezzanine-supported storage

Scope varies by requirement and by what manufacturers make available for a given configuration. Nothing here should be read as a stock statement.

Technical evaluation

What decides the specification

These questions are worked through with you before any equipment is proposed. The answers are recorded so the specification can be audited later.

  1. 01

How many SKUs against how many pallets?

SKU count relative to pallet volume decides whether selectivity or density wins. Getting this wrong is the most expensive storage mistake we see.

  2. 02

    First-in-first-out or last-in-first-out?

Stock rotation rules exclude whole system types before layout begins, particularly for dated or batch-controlled goods.

  3. 03

Which truck is servicing the racking?

Racking is designed to the truck, not the reverse. Aisle widths, entry tolerances and beam levels follow the fleet already on site or the fleet being specified with it.

  4. 04

    What does the building allow?

Clear height, roof structure, floor slab, sprinkler layout and fire strategy are established with the building owner before any layout is issued.

Documentation

Figures we confirm from manufacturer sources

We do not publish capacities, dimensions or performance data on this website, because those figures are only meaningful for a specific configuration. For a quoted configuration, we supply the manufacturer's own documentation alongside our proposal.
